Veelgestelde Vragen

    Useful panel.

This a nice compact design, and looks good quality. Very similar to the more expensive Jackery in looks and performance. The only drawback with these sort of panels is the tendancy to have reduced output over time (at least with my experience of the panels I have bought). Initially I was getting close to the rated output, but after some months of use I can only achieve about half to two thirds of that, even allowing for the decrease in sunlight as the seasons change. Certainly cheaper than the Jackery, so a good buy in that respect.

Gives out at least 97 watts

Paired with my EcoFlow River, this charges it in about 2 hours, but from 60-100% today took about an hour with intermittent sunshine.I bought this solar panel a few months ago and have given it some use. The max I’ve seen is 97w from it, which impressed me, as others advertise 100w but then reviews state they get no where near that.Today I managed 90w and its a bit cloudy, so the odd bit of direct sunlight, averaging around 30-50w.It’s well made, however the control unit on the back of mine came away, but just superglue it back on. Think I pulled a cable too tight.I’ve used the solar panel in pretty heavy rain and still achieved 15w in full cloud coverage. I later read you’re not really supposed to use it in the rain, but meh, it still works.Overall very happy because this is at least half the price of the EcoFlow branded units they sell for a similar power output.

Great but slightly different than described

This is a nice 100w panel. I like the features and it definitely puts out 100w.I’ve already used it to charge my power station one or two times. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the pictured battery clip connectors did not come with my panel. The other connectors shown are correct but the clips were replaced with another type of connector I’m not familiar with. Not a deal breaker at all though as it is an excellent panel.

High power output, stores easily, waterproof, decent quality, decent price.

I bought this solar panel for our road trips. I have 3 teens basically needed to be on their devices all the time, … taking photos, playing games/music or checking social media when there’s signal. It’s great that this is a large solar pane that can create enough electricity for all of our devices. I usually set it up when kids were out doing activities. For example, in our latest trip to Lassen National Park, we stopped by a lake, the kids went in swimming, the sun was bright, and I just setup the solar panel to charge our devices. Although the solar panel is big, it folds in half and completely flat with a handle, which makes it super easy to carry around and store in the car without taking much space. I also like that’s it’s water resistant so I don’t need to worry about rain or getting wet. I’m very happy with the purchase.

    Great portable power source

My son plays club sports almost year round and we are on the road a lot. This portable solar panel is exactly what we wished to have for the long tournament days. We used to set phones to low power mode, dim display and exit most programs on laptop to conserve battery power when my son used his laptop to do homework in between tournament games. With this portable power source, it feels so much better not having to worry about device battery life any more. The panel looks well built, is super easy to set up and fold up. Though we haven’t owned it for very long, we can see ourselves taking it along for road trips or even setting it up in backyard to charge phones with “green power”. We are very happy with the purchase.

    OYSTADE 100W

I received this product in a well packed shipping box, it’s wrapped with plastic wrap, and every edge is protected by foam. The fabric surface looks very tough, and the handle bar is built with strong plastic. The back pocket is very useful, hide all the wires inside it

    Funktioniert prima

    OYSTADE 100W Portable Solar Panel

If you like to take lots of gadgets with you when camping, or are touring around in a campervan then a portable solar panel is a handy way to keep them charged. This particular model from OYSTADE has a maximum output of 100w (depending on the amount of sunshine available) and has 2 Monocrystalline solar panels that are laminated and fixed to a 900D nylon casing. The product is fairly large, measuring approximately 60.5cm x 54cm x 1.5cm (HxWxD excluding the rear pocket and when folded) and is surprisingly weighty. There are 2 hard plastic orange handles at the top to make it easy to carry and when folded shut, these stick together via magnets. The corners of the panels have metal eyelets so that you can tether the panel down or hang it up and on the rear of one of the panels is a handy zippered pocket that has 2 functions. 1 is to store the included cables and the other is to house the output sockets. On this model you get a 24W QC 3.0 USB-A port and a 45W PD USB-C port for charging USB powered devices such as phones, tablets, cameras etc. You also have an 18V DC output that can be used to connect to most portable power stations. Finally, there are 2 x semi-rigid kickstands that fixed to the outer shell. These are kept closed via hook and loop tape that you can simply pull away – an elastic strap prevents the stands from opening too far.***** In The Box *****1 x 100w Solar Panel1 x Connecting cable (4 x Connectors for Power Station and Generators)1 x Extension cable with MC4 connector1 x User Guide***** Installation / Usage *****I do not currently have a portable power station, so cannot comments on how well that works, but I have used the USB charging facility which really couldn’t be any simpler to use. You literally just need to unfold the solar panel and place it somewhere where it will collect the most amount of sunlight, connect your charging cable to the USB socket on the back of the panel and then connect the device you wish to charge. An indicator light on the panel shows you that it is converting sunlight into useable energy and your device will begin charging.***** Conclusion *****When I received the product, I was a little surprised at the weight of the item and didn’t expect it to be quite as heavy as it is (I must say that it’s not overly heavy, but you wouldn’t be hiking with it).The product also has a good quality feel to it and I really like the magnetic handle design to keep the thing shut when not in use.The fold out kick stands are a great idea, although I found them a little flimsy – they do the job ok, but I would have liked something a little more rigid.Although I have only tested the USB charging function which worked very well, I haven’t tested the 18v output. It will be interesting to see just how well it manages to charge a portable power station when I get one.The price is about average when compared to some of the other 100w panels I have seen, so overall I would have no problem in recommending it.

    Bigger than you think

My first thought was would there be enough sunshine in the UK for this to be a viable product but in fact it does not need sun just bright light so even on a cloudy day I have been able to have this providing me with power for my devices. It comes with cables to connect up to the big battery devices and as I do not have one of those I cannot comment, I was more interested in what the USB ports could deliver to keep my phone, speakers, torch and other USB battery-powered devices I use out in the wilds, charged up. It works. It folds flat, really flat but the surface area is quite large and that is good as it captures a lot of light and converts it into electricity. It has its own stand but there are a number of ways of propping it up or just laying it flat on the ground. I am impressed.

    Brilliant Portable Solar Panel

What a great idea and design from Oystade brand this 100W solar panel is. It’s foldable with comfortable carry handles and the plug in part with connectors including 2 USB ports (1 A 1 C) in the back inside a zip up bag that’s fitted onto the back of the solar panel. It has fold out supports for when the panel is open and it works well even with some shade on part of the panel I’ve noticed. I’ve tested it out on our mobile phones, tablets and other rechargeable items including a Robert’s radio that I normally charge up via a 3-pin plug and cable. Being a 100W it can’t charge everything that’s rechargeable, like a vacuum cleaner as it would need a 300W solar panel for its higher watt requirements, but it does charge up a 12W battery and a small power station to use in caravans and boats etc. It’s perfect for a laptop too when travelling and in these times of ever increasing electricity costs a portable solar panel like this one is a wise investment. I’ll be using ours on an upcoming road trip for our tablets and phones, saving using the cars battery, keeping us connected. It’s a very well made panel that should last years if looked after.

Medium, folding 100W panel, monocrystalline (higher efficiency)

Summary: As solar panels become more affordable and efficient, the avid outdoor enthusiast should consider adding a medium/large panel to their gear. This ones does not include a solar charge controller, and is designed to only work with a power banks, however, adding a low cost PWM or MPPT solar charge controller adds the capability to charge 12/24V battery bank systems.Observations: 1) This is a heavy duty panel, which weighs 9.4 pounds (product specification); 2) the DC power cables are medium duty (18AWG), which is decent sized for a 100W panel; 3) the connected power cable is terminated with an Anderson PowerPole plug, which is much preferred over the 8.0/5.5 DC standard, and is 5 feet long; 4) the panel specifications per the Amazon page are: a) cell efficiency 21-23%, b) panel specs are specified on the data sheet, and printed on the inside of the zipper storage pouch.Recommendation: 1) When it comes to PV/Solar panels, there are polycrystalline and monocrystalline; poly is lower cost but less efficient, and mono is more expensive, but also more efficient. For fixed (home) panels, the general cost is $1/Watt; so this 100W panel at $200, is $2.00/watt, which is 2.0x the cost. 2) There are basically three styles of portable panels: a) fixed, which is not very portable, b) flexible/foldable (like this), lighter weight than rigid, but also tends to sag after a couple of uses, especially in really bright, hot sun; and c) foldable/rigid, such as the POWERECO listed below, doesn’t have the sag issue, but they generally weigh a little more.Pros: Good fit & finish; DC power cable is Anderson 30A; DC 5.5/8mm and MC4 adapters included.Cons: Cost ($200 / 100W = $2.00/watt); OYSTADE appears to be a newer unproven brand. Conclusion: At $200 for 100W, rating this 4-stars (cost, unproven brand).

    Amazing product.

I got this product as I do a lot of camping. I was super impressed.First of all it was a lot bigger than I thought. It’s massive and for the price that is excellent. It’s really thin and lightweight making it super easy to take around with you whilst travelling. I haven’t used this yet so based on looking around it type of review. It’s really easy to set up as I say mine will just be beside my tent for some of my electrics. You have multiple ports in. The back of it for charging devices. It also has a stand so you can move it around to get the best from it.Over all excellent product must have for camping or your camper van. I can see my self having and using this for a long time. Very durable but lightweight. Super easy to have.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I received this panel. It was very well packaged from the manufacturer to prevent damage in shipping. The panel is one of the lighter panels I have considering the semi-rigid construction of it. In other words, it does not feel flimsy and is fairly light weight. It charges my 350W power stations in a reasonable amount of time. This panel did not disappoint me at all.

    Quality

Easy to use and store, sturdy construction. Charges my jackery on a sunny day from 30% to 100% in less than five hours. More than happy with that performance especially for the price

    Really nice solar panel kit

Bought this solar panel for my Jackery 1000 much cheaper and does an excellent job. Connect accessories for USBs on the back pocket cover and it has two leg stands.

    high quality product

I received this product in a well packed shipping box, it’s wrapped with plastic wrap, and every edge is protected by foam. The fabric surface looks very tough, and the handle bar is built with strong plastic. The back pocket is very useful, hide all the wires inside it

    Charging power

Pretty bad you only get 30 watts of charging power from a 100 watt panel in full sun .I have a different brand carrying out it pulls 60 watts I thought that was pathetic.
